How Can I Change My Katteb Account Email If I No Longer Have Access to the Old One?

If you still have access to your Katteb account (you're logged in), you can change your email directly from your dashboard. If you're completely locked out, our support team can help you verify ownership and update your email manually.

Option 1: Change Email from Your Dashboard (If You're Logged In)

If you can still log into Katteb (for example, via Google login or an active session), you can change your email self-service — no old email access required:

  1. Go to Settings in your Katteb dashboard
  2. Find the Email Address section and click Change Email
  3. Enter your new email address
  4. A verification email will be sent to the new address — click the verification link to confirm
  5. Once verified, your account email is updated immediately

Important: The verification link is sent to your new email, not your old one — so you don't need access to the old email to complete this process. A security notice is sent to the old email for safety, but no action is required from it.

Option 2: Contact Support (If You're Locked Out Completely)

If you can't log in at all because the old email is your only login method, reach out to our support team to request a manual email change:

  1. Go to katteb.com/contact-us
  2. Use a subject line like: "Email change request — lost access to old email"
  3. Include the following information so we can verify your account ownership:
  • Your old email address (the one registered on the account)
  • Your new email address (the one you want to switch to)
  • Your AppSumo purchase receipt or PayPro order number (if applicable)
  • Any other identifying details — such as your display name, brand name, or content you've generated

Once we verify your identity, our team will update the email on your account and notify you at the new address.

Tips to Avoid This in the Future

  • Connect Google Login — If your Katteb account supports Google OAuth, linking your Google account gives you an alternative login method that doesn't depend on a specific email inbox
  • Keep your email updated — Whenever you change your primary email provider, update your Katteb account email from Settings while you still have access to both
